CMIC’s engineer team has been tracking, researching and studying the most advanced mooring equipment and technology in the world and keeping improving them to develop them into the better products so as to provide our customers with more reliable equipment. The two good examples are we have improved the anchors which have been widely used for mooring offshore floating units in the past twenty years and have got our own ST/STS Offshore anchors .

    Both types of the anchors have been proven stronger than their originals at the same size. After successful sea bed testing under witnessing of the ABS, LR and DNV class surveyors, our ST/STS Offshore anchors have been approved as high holding power anchors by the LR, ABS and DNV class. And we have got the patent rights for the ST and STS Offshore anchors . After being put into use in early 2000's, the ST/STS Offshore anchors are considered as better offshore mooring anchors in performance than any other types of anchor in the offshore oil and gas industry in the world.
